Fil Scarpazza is the chief designer at Scarpazza Homes Design. After graduating from La Salle Secondary School, he would continue his studies at the University of Waterloo and Queen's University earning the following degrees;

Since 1987, Fil has been employed by a range of employers including the; E. A. Cromarty Architect. DuPont Canada/I.M. Ltd (Engineering Department), The Frontenac County Board of Education, University of Waterloo Plant Operations and, The Toronto Transit Commission, During this time Fil would continue to design and many new home designs.
A number of Commercial Renovation Projects have been at the Cataraqui Town Centre in Kingston, Ontario. Redmond Optical was a family owned Optical store which was located on the top floor of the Mall near the escalator. The use of Red- Ceramic Tile and Trim complemented the family name while the use of Traditional decorative shapes on the facade produced a welcoming atmosphere.
Unique custom designed homes have been a specialty over the years. Many projects are located in well established Estate subdivisions across Kingston including Edenwood and Riverside Estates.
The following Multi-residential proposal for a property near Queen's University did not develop further than the preliminary drawing phase. Drawing from the historic architecture of the area and responding to the corner condition of the property, this unique design was an attempt to enhance the area.
